House Budget Committee Ranking Republican Paul Ryan (WI) today introduced a comprehensive alternative to the fiscal year 2010 budget proposed by the President and Democratic Majority. In stark contrast to the Obama plan, the House Republican budget alternative will get spending and deficits under control – without raising taxes – and ensure America can prosper in the future.

Ryan issued the following the statement:

My congressman, Ron Kind, finally got around to responding to my letter regarding the economic stimulus sham that was passed by both houses of Congress without being read.  It's sad that his "slight of hand" style of politics doesn't surprise me anymore.  I would much prefer to be surprised by an actual heartfelt response instead of the canned, liberal thinktank approved, legal department authorized drivel that comes from his pen.

So, reducing spending goes too far but adding trillions of dollars in debt for our kids and grandkids to payoff in the future is acceptable?  Folks, we are truly living in bizarro world.
