Are we Living in Bizarro World?

Sometimes I wonder if we truly are living in Bizarro World. You know, the world where right is wrong, bad is good, and an economic stimulus is a massive spending spree. For crying out loud!

The Return of the Republicans

It astounds me that Congressman Kind gets away with making such statements.  If he didn't like the bill then why did he vote for it?  When he says that doing nothing is not an option what is that supposed to mean?  Republicans offered an excellent alternative that was heavy on giving taxpayers their own money back.  This would have had an almost immediate boost on the economy but, unfortunately, President Obama and the Democrats in Congress wouldn't compromise.

Government is not the Answer, it is the Problem

It looks like the Democrats will insist on these new government entanglements that will only weaken our economy in the long term.

It is disappointing that my congressman, Ron Kind (D-La Crosse), refuses to listen to the common sense approach of letting American taxpayers keep the money that they earn so they can have the power to strengthen the economy through natural economic behavior.

This government approach did not work for F.D.R. and it will not work for President Obama.
