It astounds me that Congressman Kind gets away with making such statements.  If he didn't like the bill then why did he vote for it?  When he says that doing nothing is not an option what is that supposed to mean?  Republicans offered an excellent alternative that was heavy on giving taxpayers their own money back.  This would have had an almost immediate boost on the economy but, unfortunately, President Obama and the Democrats in Congress wouldn't compromise.
