I was so disgusted by the disrespectful behavior from liberals earlier that I didn't immediately recognize what a wonderful opportunity conservatives have right now.

I want to take a moment and thank President George W. Bush for his service to this nation.

Mr. President,
On behalf of myself and my wife and children I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service as our president. It was your leadership that helped America heal so quickly after the brutal attacks on our nation and it was your leadership that ensured we never got hit again on your watch.

Below is some of the video footage I took at the La Crosse McCain rally. When I stopped by the McCain victory center a couple of nights before the event I had some great conversations with volunteers and campaign staff. Clint, from the McCain campaign, was very knowledgeable and impressive. He arranged for the eighth graders from my kids' school to attend the rally and set us up in a very good spot. My deep thanks to Clint and all the volunteers who did a terrific job of making this such a memorable day.
