Small Gathering with Scott Walker

I was privileged to attend a small gathering with Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker today in La Crosse.  He outlined his vision for the future as he prepares for his upcoming State of the County address.  I'm very impressed with this man.  Instead of boring us with tired rhetoric he provided some excellent ideas for ways that he plans to help his county overcome the economic downturn we're all feeling today.  He didn't speak in high level terms but in solid, down-to-earth ideas that everyone who works and lives in Wisconsin can relate to.  I pray this brilliant politician will bring this kind of common sense leadership to the entire state.

There is a lot of speculation about whether or not he will run for governor again and I suspect his presence in La Crosse is a good indication that he is leaning in that direction.  I hope you'll join me in praying for him as he pursues this noble cause.  I also encourage you to visit his web site where you can learn more about him.
