It originated as a joke between me and my wife but took on a whole new meaning when a local reporter put it into one of his news stories while I was serving as Chairman of the La Crosse County Republican Party. My motto is "While I may be opinionated I'm not always a jerk about it, but sometimes I am." It's my way of making a little fun of myself and keeping me humble.
